Salem Sayers Baptist Academy

This school is excellent! Outstanding academics and teachers. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking at a Christian private school setting. We did public school and homeschool and definitely we made the correct decision choosing Salem Sayers Baptist Academy.

SSBA has a reputation of being a solid Christian school. Before the start of the 2014-2015 school year, a beloved member of the administration resigned. The school has not been the same. Standards have dropped, teachers have behaved in inappropriate ways towards students, and management seems to be non-existent. After a very good teacher gave 2 weeks notice to the management (for personal reasons unrelated to the school), she was promptly let go. This was a clear sign that this school no longer walked the Christian walk. In addition to this steep decline in standards, students who have gone on to other schools from SSBA have been far behind their peers at other institutions. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere until the admin either changes personnel or rights it's path.

I love how my son has blossomed here! His teacher, Mrs Jackie is the best! All the staff is so wonderful! My son just loves going to school everyday!

This is a wonderful school. Mrs Harper has went out of her way to help my son to catch up with the rest of the students. She went above and beyond!

This is the best place to be in our rural/suburban community. The teachers/staff are so sweet, friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter has learned so much. Salem Sayers is great!!!
