Westmoreland Elementary School

As a past student at this school, I was absolutely miserable there. I was only there for a few months before needing to be taken out of the school because it was that bad. I would come home crying every day because of people being mean to me both on the bus and in class. The education is alright overall, it’s just that some teachers need to actually do their job, and not throw packets and worksheets in our faces as soon as we start a new subject and expect us to know everything already. I thought we went to school to learn, not to be expected to know everything before we’re supposed to learn it. I also experienced a lot of unfair treatment because I dressed alternative, even from some of the teachers, so that added onto my suffering. Overall, this school really needs to get its priorities straight. They need to stop worrying about who has phones on them, or who’s talking, and they need to focus on the people who are really struggling both in subjects, and in bullying situations. This school genuinely gave me trauma, and even when I was home, I was so paranoid about always having eyes over my shoulders and a target on my back for being who I was and not who they wanted me to be. If anybody is wanting to go to this school, fair warning to the people who are sensitive and emotional just like I was, IT IS MISERABLE. Thank you for your time.
