I attended the county school for all 4 years of my highschool career and I can say that, personally, this school did not prepare me for my future college career. My son has autism and we were worried about moving him into such a small school system. We were afraid that without the latest technology and resources, our child would be struggling. However, we have learned that the best resource has been the dedicated staff of this school. Teachers here care about the students and not just the grades. They keep open lines of communication to the parents. They listen and take suggestions. They offer insight to our child's development within the school and work hard to help with not just test scores, but life, occupational, and social skills.. Our son has had amazing success and improvement since coming to Hancock Elementary School.
