Rocky Fork Elementary School

Parents are barely welcome to see the teachers. My child had to get reevaluated basically because they think she doesn't need her IEP anymore that suppose to been the same for 3yrs. Dropping your child off in the morning is a long process. It's only 3 people that stands outside and there are metal detectors so your child will more than likely have to stand outside. This morning it was cold and rain and traffic. Very bad traffic so a 7 min ride turned into 18 mins. We get to her school at 7:31. All parents are getting out of there cars. Once out the cars we had to stand in a long line . With our kids in the cold and rain. They aren't understanding at all. One parent even complained to me once stating they marked her non verbal child absent and he was actually at school. They don't treat kids right that have disabilities. I wouldn't refer anyone to this school it's very terrible.

My son has been with LCA since he was an infant and is now in 6th grade! I love the community LCA provides, the engaging lessons and the foundation of God! Amber Austin

All three of our children attended CCDS. They had great experiences while learning so much! All teachers were welcoming and open with praise as well as corrections when needed. When it was time to start Kindergarten, our Pre-K teachers were very informative about the private school side of CCDS versus our local magnet choices. The office staff is unmatched with information and compassion! I marked Special Education as a 3/5 only because I did not have any experiences with Special Education.

This is our first year at Lancaster, and we truly could not have chosen a better school for our daughter. She’s in kindergarten, and from day one, we’ve felt that this is a true partnership between the school and our family. The communication, support, and care have been exceptional.One thing that has amazed me is how many teachers and administrators know my daughter by name. It speaks volumes about the intentional, close-knit community they’ve created.I also love that she has Bible class every day. The faith-centered foundation is such a gift. From the moment you step onto campus, you can feel the joy and warmth—it’s a welcoming place where children are truly known and loved.
