I have had nothing but a fabulous experience at this school. I've had 3 kids in different classes with different teachers over the last 3 years.Parent involvement and communication with patience is key to a successful school year.The only complaint is the traffic at pick up and drop off. The school

Teachers care very little about their students as demonstrated by lack of communication with parents, failure to respond to parents request to talk unless you threaten to contact the principal. Students are bullied and the principal will not take appropriate action. One of the worse in Davidso
Posted by a parent on 3/3/2015Principal Curtis is great. I've had great experiences with every teacher that my kids have had there. They communicate really well and seem to genuinely love their jobs. I wish my kids could stay there all the way to 8th grade.

I know this school was sought after many years ago however it has declined dramatically in their scores over the last few years due to this decline they are now considered a "Focus" school

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt takes a village! So glad we found HES. Everyday I pick up my daughter she can’t wait to go back. Love that Art, Music and PE are in rotation even for Kindergarten. The school is using funds appropriately and it shows.
