Read what parents are saying about Lincoln Heights Middle SchoolWorst school! Do not send your kids to it and don’t even think about it as a school. Terrible!
Posted by a community member on 5/16/2019Mr. Ely and his staff are wonderful. They treat our children with so much respect and they push them to succeed. My daughter had an amazing 3 years at this school and she will continue to be *Good to Great*
Posted by a parent on 5/20/2015This is an amazing school! Being a gradyate of Lincoln Middle, I believe they have amply prepared me for high school and for life outside of school. The teachers are very caring and push the students to do their best. In the 2012-2014 school years, Lincoln had a student elected Jr. Beta Club president for Tennessee. Overall, Lincoln is a superb place for your children to attend school. I LOVE LHMS!!! GO PATRIOTS!!!!
Posted by a community member on 2/15/2014This is the worst school I've ever been to the teachers are very hateful and stuck up I wouldn't recommend sending your child there
Posted by a community member on 8/31/2013i go to this school and I must say it is the worst school I have ever been to!! The lunch is unbearable, there are no doors to the class rooms, students are a bad influence on any child! I would not recommend anyone going to this school!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOk, ... My grandson is 7 years old, he spent extra time this morning on fixing his little brothers and his own hair, (of course he is just 7, )and there are 4 children in the home, 3 boys , 7, 4 and 3 1/2 yrs. old boys and one girl 22 months. So this made him feel good being able to help and of course I thought it was sweet of him to want to help at 7 yrs old.. can you imagine how he felt when he arrived at school and was made to wash his hair because it was spiked too high according to their rules, he has always worn it spiked before and it was no problem, also teacher said there was blue on the sides? Which Mom said she didn.t see no blue in his hair this morning. All I am saying , is that HIS FEELINGS MATTER and his feelings should have been considered.. HE LEFT HOME FEELING GOOD ABOUT BEING ABLE TO HELP THIS MORNING AND THOUGHT HE HAD DONE A GOOD JOB ONLY TO GET SHOT DOWN AT SCHOOL.. I understand there has to be rules, but sometimes the children feelings get left OUT A LOT...and school should be all about them, and their learning... not someones hairstyle... that is all... Have a blessed day ! Also from kindergarten up if your child is late 3 times in one year they are not permitted to go on field trips all year.. A child being late is the parents responsibility not the Childs. So why punish the child for something beyond their control?? .. (like I dont know any elementary children that drive their self to school smh)Other Review3y ago - Union Heights Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are helpful. They ask for ALOT of money so I would hate to think of the students that don't have the privilege of having parents with money feel. They don't take bulling seriously and just keep them out of recess.Parent Review4y ago - Witt Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is far from good let alone great. The teachers are rude they bully and try to intimidate me for every meeting or encounter with them. Yesterday my son was supposed to go to the big club like usual well he came knocking and had managed to get passed them and get on a diff bus to come home how is that safe? No he shouldn't get on the wrong bus but who was watching my son and what if id been gone. This school is horrible they are rude and mean to my son as well because of me. They never say anything nice to him but I see other children getting treated how my son should be. They harass me and treat me like worse than a dog they get in a group and gang up on me because I'm alone and they are bullies so they intimidate me thru the meeting and it's bull they need new people running that school at least.Parent Review1y ago - West Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWest used to be wonderful when my oldest child was there seven years ago but it has progressively gone downhill. The principal they’ve had for the last 2 or 3 years just doesn’t seem to be one to listen and work with parents. It seems like it must be this way with staff too because everyone has been leaving since he came to the school. They’re only maybe three or four teachers still there that were there when he came. That seems like a problem to me. Also it adds to instability. Stability is something many students from this school lack at home, so they really need it at school. The few staff that stuck around and used to always be so friendly just seems down now. It seems like they have lost their drive under Mr Olson. It breaks my heart seeing how the school has changed and then hearing stories from some of the teachers my children have had that left. This principal really needs to be investigated. I never leave bad reviews but I was thinking about my youngest one starting to West for his last year as a fifth grader and it’s just sad knowing he is not in the happy environment West use to be. I’m sure this review won’t be looked at and won’t accomplish anything, but parents are no longer heard at the school so this honestly just makes me feel better.Parent Review1y ago - Morristown Covenant Academy
