Don't let the scores intimidate you. There is a new principal at Bolton, and he is turning things around. The school has an International Baccalaureate (IB) program. My dealings with staff have been very good. Some teachers can be slow to respond to e-mails, but I'm not sure if it's due to their workload. My daughter was set to go to Arlington High School, which has an 8/10 score, until we were able to interact with some of the IB students. They were impressive! Juniors were giving great presentations and talking about projects they managed that would be challenging for many adults. The program's graduates rack up impressive sums of scholarship money.All in all, I am glad my daughter is at Bolton. We look forward to the next four years.
