Hickory Ridge Middle School

This school teaches children to be aware that skin color means everything. The fairer skinned children are rewarded and treated better than the darker students. They will ignore a darker child if a lighter child is approaching to make them feel belittled and have low self worth. This deception is disguised as a biblical education. Trust me you are better off paying the higher price to other private schools!

Very high! My daughter started in the Pre K 3 program which was great! Most schools don't have that program so I was ver excited!

We had a great year and the staff worked so hard this year with the events and caring for the students. It's a great place to learn and grow.

I wish this school was more professional. My daughter started her cycle for the first time at school and she was embarrassed because all of her classmates saw that she had blood coming from her pants. I went to the and brought clothes and wipes so she could clean herself up but they allow her to leave class because it was 2pm. They told me everything was ok because they gave her a pad and shorts to change into but made her keep the same bloody underwear on. They would allow her to put on fresh underwear just because the time wasn’t before 2pm. Please make it make sense.

My daughter was a student at Hickory Ridge Elementary for Kindergarten, First and Second grade. She was also in the gifted program. Her teachers pushed her even though she working above her grade level and in 3rd grade she got perfect scores in math for the TCAP. My husband and I never had any problems and the principal was always friendly and professional.

They help us when we need help. They also have tutoring after school to get us prepare for t-cap. There always working us hard so that we can pass t-cap and get a better education and what we will like to be when we are an adult ! That's why I like my school Newberry Elementary School !
