Georgian Hills Elementary

My daughter is in her last year at CAES and we are so saddened by the fact she has to move on to another school next year!!! I wish she could finish school to 12th grade there with the same staff...lol

The Guidence Counselor is horrible, the teachers are horrible. If i would have know this school was this horrible, i wouldnt even enroll my child into this school. Its not the child fault why its so bad it the staff they dont care if kids get bully. Its like they only care about getting a check. Teachers should have a dress code to, because some of the staff look like they be walking on brooks rd. I dont feel like my child is in a safe enviorment at this school.. i go to work and worry what going to happen to child today (thats a bad feeling). im debating about home schooling my child . I feel i can give my child a better education then this school can. all i can say is PLEASE DONT ENROLL YOUR CHILD HERE PLEASE DONT... i wish someone would have told me....

I love this school, the faculty is so dedicated to the students and make each student feel unique and special, when they come in every morning the students are greeted by the principal and assistant principal with a handshake and as they walk up the ramp the principal tells them they're on the walkway to success, this really builds up a childs self esteem. I was reallly impressed one morning when I dropped my child off, the assistant principal came to the car with a large umbrella and opened the car door and walked my child to the entrance so that I didn't have to get out and get wet, and he did this with all the students as they arrived. I love the cleanness of the school and the learning environment is awesome, great dedicated teachers.

i love this school my child has attended this school since pre k he is so well educated and I'm glad he is at a school where he can learn about God just as he does at home

Overall its a good school but some things should be addressed !My daughter attended Hawkins Mill Elementary for two years without a problem! Her second grade year her assigned teacher snatches her by her arm! Since my child came forward about this incident She has started to be picked with consistently by this same teacher. She goes from A’s and B’s to D’s and F’s We spoke with the principal about moving her to a different Class an it was no acccomadation My child was being mentally abused
