Wilson Central High School

This school is too strict with rules if you're one minute late go to Lunch detention and goach gains really rude even if you just ask a question and he trys to start problem to the students and same for holiday You can just feel the rasisim in this school won't recommend it they'll give you a hard time

Wilson Central has recently changed principles the 21 through 22 school year for my child was good I was not worried about grades nor the principal. As the 2022 school year they changed to Dr. Ankney they have recently taken away freshman lunch instead of shortening to their time less than 20 minutes to grab food and also eat. In the 55 minute lunch they should be getting is now they’re advisatory which they will focus on academics. Although this might sound good, or even great for the students academics. In the end, if you have failing students who do not want to participate in school work, they aren’t going to do it. Also, it will take away their social skills within with children over their age during lunch. The new principal has gone on to say other things, and change other rules as well that other parent should not be OK with. Principal Mayfield last year was amazing. The new principal is awful. She is also disrespectful to parents and student athletes. As shown to many student athletes.

Very nice kids love the teachers over there

Overall, I had a great experience. Like most things in life, you get out what you put into it.

Bullying happens often, disrespecting property happens almost everyday and teachers only care about higher grade sudents. The school only becomes professional while they’re being reviewed. This school needs serious work.
