Excellent at every level. I am pleased with not only the academics but the family unity among the staff and students. I wasn't looking for an all out Christian school, but this one delivers and have become our family.

During my years i was their I met some nice and helpful teachers, but more bad teachers that can't get fired because they've worked there for so long. Multiple teachersCANNOT teach! They'll slap you with some homework and "notes", but when it's time to get oneonone

Jackson public schools have a pretty bad rep. Sadly, I needed to choose from private schools for my boys. But I couldn't be more pleased with JCS. My child loves it there

My child has been called the "N" word and has been bullied because of her color. I do not recommend this school for children of color for Elementary school. I have had a very positive experience with SMS as my children's educational choice. I feel like I have a team of educators who are willing to work with me, to listen to my concerns, to support all of my children's educational needs. The teachers and staff have been so kind and caring and attentive to my children at every level.
