Walton Ferry Elementary School

I’ve had a really good experience with my son at this school. We immigrated to the country a couple of years ago, and this was his first school here. He has grown so much, and we’ve never felt any discrimination for being immigrants. I truly recommend this school!

My daughter is currently in 3rd grade and has been at DuPont Elementary since kindergarten. She has cherished every teacher she has had, they each hold a special place in her heart, especially her kindergarten teacher who has inspired her with the goal of becoming a teacher herself. The staff warmly welcomes parents to come for lunch with their child, they have family activities throughout the school year, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved as a parent through an active PTO.We as a family have had great experiences with the principal, teachers and staff and the school itself. We are looking forward to sending our youngest to Pre-K next year!

Dr. Kimberly Bullock, Executive Principal is truly what an educator should look like. She loves her students, her school, her staff, and her community. While the facility is old, she has made it inviting and advocated for it to be in the best condition possible.

This school is amazing! Great faculty and staff and great learning environment. The growth in learning has been outstanding.

Seems like everywhere else. Kids getting kissed on, candy being taken from a lunch box by an adult and thrown away (when there is nothing in the rules about that at all) and teachers just not paying attention when bullying is going on. Sad, sad world we live in. They also do not communicate very well at all.
