Read what parents are saying about J. Brown Elementary SchoolMy children have been attending this school for two years. We are very happy with the education our kids are getting. I feel the teachers are at this school because they truley want to be teachers. They are eager to help and welcome any comments or questions we have. They encourage parent envolvement which is vital to a successful education. The teachers and staff at J Brown are helpful and friendly and are an asset to my children and this community. I look forward to the next two years and am thankful and greatfull for the great job everyone does!
Posted by a parent on 4/22/2014My two children has went two this school since day pre-k.I have to say iv delt a lot with the teachers, principle,an the sro officer at this school an I will say they know how to run a school the right way.the kids is ahead in all there subjects an the teachers take the kids to heart.iv only ran across one teacher that we really didn't care for in kindergarten an was really gto old to still be tryin to teach is my opinion .I will say the rest of the teachers & staff r wonderful an I really hate that they only go to fourth.I'm really gonna miss them all here.keep up the good staff Brown.

The Administrators, teachers and staff have an amazing level of love and concern for the students who attend school here-not only for their education but for making sure they are prepared for life.Parent Review1y ago - Riverside Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has caused great psychological trauma for my child that she now has to take therapy. When she went to this school she was a very bright child and really wanted to make friends with everyone she met. Unfortunately most of her classmates were very unwelcoming towards her. The teachers also showed huge favoritism when it came to grading. She became introverted and suicidal in her teenage years even after we left the school. I was deeply shocked to find out about this only after we moved away since she had told us she was fine in Agathos. But now that I think about it she was always crying about not making friends and how mean they were to her after she came home. Currently she is doing much better but will always have an introverted personality that she can’t get rid of. So overall I wouldn’t recommend this school in anyway.Parent Review2mo ago - Christian Heritage Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was, I thought, a caring Christian school. It is why my children were enrolled there initially. How ironic that they do not practice what they preach! They punish students for the things they do themselves REGULARLY. Bullying is left unchecked for "certain" students (see: financially, locally or politically connected). The rest of the mass of students are held to another standard completely. My child has never been the same since going to that school. The treatment my child received at the hands of both students and administrators has kept an arms length pattern of behavior ever since when meeting new people in the area. Trust has been broken with the local community in the area in my child's mind, and finding the ability to have a normal school experience has been elusive ever since. The level of sadness and depression that has taken place in my child since the experience at this school has been nothing short of catastrophic. I DO NOT recommend this school unless you like hypocritical Pharisees teaching your child.Parent Review9mo ago
