Great, way better than the schools I experienced growing up. I'm proud that my kid goes to yates and I have only had positive experiences so far. They have welcomed my child with love and now my child loves school while I always hated school.

Some teachers are a bit task oriented and seem to be "teaching the test" concerned about scores. A lot of worksheet work and not as much interactive and creative teaching as it could be. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have children in their 20s who went through all their elementary years at this school and this school is not new and has been opened for many years. I now have a 10 year old who has been there starting in kindergarten and is now entering into the 5th grade. She has had teachers that her brother and sister had. The principle and vice principle are great. The teachers are caring and encouraging. Some parents have to realize that learning has to continue at home. We can blame the teachers and the school but it is our responsibilities to do our part also. My daughter loves this school and has done academically well here.
