The new principals this year are a step down from previous ones. I do not feel they treat all students or parents with respect. However the staff is amazing.

Never had any issues with this school. My kids loved it there and I am sad to see them both go to Middle School. My oldest says she wishes she could go back all the time. Both my kids excelled at this school. We originally chose it because it is a STEM school. My middle child wants to be a scientist when he grows up!

Family engagement is trash. The admin lied and hid referrals all year. The principal lied several times and has yet to do anything to make the situation any better. The teachers are incompetent except Ms. Edward’s. She the only one that has some integrity. I wouldn’t send my dog to this school. They are performing below average for math and reading. Explore other options for your family.

As someone who has taught in the public school system at CMCSS for years, I have to say I will be sending my children here when they are able. CA has seriously impressed me ever since I started working here. The students are held to a higher standard both academically and behaviorally, the smaller class sizes are beneficial for both teachers and students, and the culture here is at the very least miles above even the highest performing public school in Clarksville (where I taught at for years). I have noticed a few reviews regarding favoritism and bullying. While I obviously can't speak for everyone's experience, I personally as a teacher do not notice any of those things going on. In fact, I have actually observed the opposite behavior. Kids that I know who would have had a rough social interaction at the public schools I taught actually thrive here and I have been pleasantly surprised how much some of the kids encourage others here. We absolutely have a handful of kids that think they are too cool but they typically get called out on that behavior. Academics are also very impressive, I think I can easily say more than half the teachers here have an advanced degree in their field (public schools barely require just a bachelors) and most of the upper school staff is qualified and currently teaching dual-enrollment college courses through Austin Peay State University.The highest praise I can give this school is that as a teacher, I want my kids going here as they grow up.

My children have been attending Little Scholars Montessori for over 7 years. Just when I think I couldn't love this learning environment more, the staff bring in new ideas, provide new and creative multi-sensory lessons, and are able to create exciting learning opportunities throughout the day that are fun and engaging and meet the students at/on their level. All three of my children, despite all having very different strengths, weaknesses and needs, have thrived in this setting. The staff have become our second family and I fully trust them to guide my children as they navigate social and academic opportunities during their school days.
