Grassland Elementary School

There are many nice, well meaning teachers, parents, families, administration. The buildings are nice, safety is great, kids with special needs are supported, parents are offered opportunities to volunteer. That said, I felt the education was based on testing and teaching to testing. The school didnt seem empowered to make their own choices, much of the work linked to TCAP and rankings. I did not feel there was room for critical thinking, creativity or fostering a love of learning.

We have been at CPA for 7 years. I am not a teacher nor am I related to a teaching family. We been very pleased with the academic rigor, the accessibility of the administration is each school. Our children have established great friendships with friends. Every alumni I speak to has shared they felt prepared for the expectations of college. If you are looking for a school that provides a college preparatory education in a grace understanding environment without sacrificing its Biblical mission, then look no further than CPA

We moved from NY in 2018 so our daughter could attend CIA in the 6th grade. She has just completed her 5th year at CIA l and is now a rising Junior! We could not be happier with our decision. She is thriving academically and socially. She feels happy, comfortable and confident going to school. The small class sizes coupled with the amazing teachers and staff who provide the tools and support needed to achieve success have made the world of difference. She also enjoys the opportunities to participate in sports, theatre, homecoming, prom and trips. I 100% believe this school has changed the trajectory of her future. Highly recommend for students with learning differences.
