North Elementary School

Check the test scores. Consistently BELOW average in every category, year after year. I graduated from this school with highest honors, and performed dismally in math and science in college. I had a few stand-out teachers during my time at GCHS, and they did a fantastic job with their subject matter. But those were the exception and not the rule. If you have a smart, college-bound child, get the heck out of this school district! Don't let their grades and honors fool you......they will NOT be prepared for college level courses with a diploma from GCHS. Unless you plan on going to Motlow or Chatt State...then they'll probably be all right.
