This is terrible school to teach. Nobody cares abour anything. One day, I went to one the school counseler to speak to her about some students' behavior. While I was expressing my concerns, she was checking her facebook on her smartphone and checking personal emails. I did not contact her anymore for any reason. That was terrible.

•Teacher workload is a way too much. (6 classes/one planning period)•Excessive class observations. Sometimes right after a long break.•The grading policy (60% minimum for students who do not do any work) is unfair for the students who really work hard in class. The school has too many slackers in it. They just come to class to play video games and socialize.•Too much disruptions during teaching time, phone calls, students’ walk-ins etc.

This is my junior year in highschool. Swansea is a very nasty school and they dont hardly clean. Some of the teachers act like they dont care about our education. We went threw 4 math teachers until the found one to stay. They will supply the freshman and sophmores with chromebooks (but not the juniors and seniors) and worry about sports when the roof despertly needs to be redone. Last year we couldent go in the gym because there were rats and they were all over the school.

My 5 year old has attended since he was 3 and this is the only district that accepts 3 year olds in the midlands that I am aware of. He has enjoyed it and I'm sure he will miss it as he will be attending Sandhills next year. He has begun to learn how to read and knows all of his ABC's and can count to 100 and higher by tens.He has also learned basic addition. The curricular/teaching process is Montessori and all learning is a hands on approach with lessons updated weekly/monthly depending on how quickly they learn. I also love the PALS meetings that they offer each month that provide learning for parents and activities with your children.
