When my daughter first began attending, things seemed to run smoothly; however, after my son enrolled, I began noticing several ongoing issues that have become increasingly frustrating. One of my main concerns is the lack of communication between the school administration, staff, and parents. If my children are having behavioral, academic, or emotional difficulties during the school day, I believe those matters should be communicated directly to me by school staff rather than relayed through my 9-year-old child. Effective parent-teacher communication is essential to supporting students, and unfortunately, that communication has been lacking.Additionally, the school frequently requests financial support through restaurant fundraisers and other events where the school receives a portion of the proceeds. As a parent, I would like more transparency regarding where these funds are being allocated, as I have not seen many noticeable improvements within the school aside from the playground area.Another major concern is the tuition being charged for the Montessori 3K–5K program. I do not understand why EP Todd charges families for these grade levels simply because the Montessori label has been added, while other schools within District 7 offer these same early education grades tuition-free. Kindergarten is considered a foundational educational requirement, and I believe all children should have equal access without additional financial burden placed on parents.I strongly feel the district office should reevaluate the policies, communication practices, and overall structure at EP Todd School to better support both students and families.Parent Review4mo ago10 Reviews - Cleveland Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEddlemon Adventist school is truly a place where you'll find caring teachers who will prepare your kids for a solid academic future. I have 2 daughters with very different learning patterns who have attended. They were each encouraged to grow, and given the opportunity to work ahead in areas of strength. The teachers lead both academically and spiritually in the students lives. They have music and sports programs, as well as community service opportunities for the kids. I would highly recommend this school.Parent Review5y ago1 Reviews - Spartanburg Preparatory School

I started here as a parent and have worked in several capacities from kindergarten through eighth grade. The autonomy and culture is what sets us apart from other schools in our area. Our location is in the heart of downtown Spartanburg, a city on the rise. Since we are a state-supported school which allows for any child in South Carolina to attend Spartanburg Prep, our diversity is representative of students who come from all parts of Spartanburg (encompassing all seven school districts) and surrounding areas outside of Spartanburg County.Teacher Review2y ago5 Reviews
