Rivelon Elementary School

This school could be great however they worry more about the curriculum and state requirements than they do the students being human beings. They slam these kids hardcore but send them home with more work than they do in the 8 hours that they have them. They make you feel like your kid isn't smart and they make the kid feel the same way. I think it is very sad this is the best public school in orangeburg. My kid loved school and after going here my kid now hates school.

Wesley Christian School maintains an organized Christian atmosphere. Teachers love their students and get to know them on a very personal basis -- meeting not only the educational need, but the socialogical, emotional and spiritual need. It is their desire that all children find the way to learn that best suits their individual makeup. Exceptional!

This school has a serious history with teachers being mean or too rough towards students especially the younger ones and the disabled children. There are a few good teachers at this school but MANY who should not be working with children. The principal sweeps it under the rug with fake smiles and fake attempts to make nice. I would never recommend this school to anyone.
