VWES is one of the best schools in LCSD! The admin team,Dr. Ramey, Mrs. Jackson, and Mrs. Urbano go above and beyond everyday for the students, staff, and parents. My daughter started in kindergarten & graduated from 4th. My son is now in kindergarten here & from education to teachers kindness it is 10/10! Absolutely love this school & am thankful for each & every one of the staff.

I am an employee at Van Wyck and it is, in my opinion, the best school ever. There is a constant energy of positivity and high expectations for learners. Folks are supportive and respectful of every person in the building. It’s truly a wonderful place.
