My daughter and our family absolutely LOVE Brushy Creek and all the staff!! Everyone is kind and inviting. The kids are happy to be learning, teachers happy to be teaching. Brushy Creek is a Great School!

Good luck with this school! We've worked with 4 teacher. All appeared worn down, impatient, defensive, anxious and burned out. Maybe there could work on teacher appreciation and encourage more teacher self-care and change their focus. Teachers here "teach the test." That might be good very temporarily, but good luck when your child hits high school and a decent university, let alone the work place. Jobs these days need creative problem solvers that think for themselves. Office staff are just plain unprofessional-roll their eyes, say inappropriate and share unwanted advice. I heard them gossiping about moms in the back. This school is completely void of joy. Joy is tge basis of all learning. Their little model "leader in me" is based off Steven Covey's 7 habits for kids. Uh, as a social scientist with a Master's from a top university and even math teacher graduate. This theme is developmentally all wrong. Plus they are rigid about it all. I got the impression it's for show. Look at other nearby schools and you'll see better mottos. No, Woodland won't make your child a leader. I've never met a happy person here or even a patient one. Try another school if you can. Oh and it's overcrowded and huge.

Terrible experience. My 5 year old had behavioral issues that never had before, so think due to the multiple changes (new school and family separation at home). He had in incident with his teacher on the first day and she tells me “all the other kids are good”. I complaint with the principal, and it went downhill from there. I made several changes including shortening this stay at school. After only one week at MRCA, the head of school asked me not to bring back my son the next day until he got assessed and his behavior improved. I withdrew him, got him assessed, and he is a perfectly normal toddler. He didn’t feel safe at MRCA, once he went back to his previous school he started doing very well again.

Would not recommend. I went here for three years, and it severely declined over the years. The teacher got worse, and leadership decreased, and they seemed less caring about learning and the bullying because my friend was a special needs kid who got bullied so much every day. I tried to stop, but it just got worse, so I would not recommend this school, and they are facing allegations for bad things and making news headlines nver sendf yourn child here, you will severely regret it. Never go to the middle school or high school; it is worse.
