Read what parents are saying about Moore Intermediate SchoolPrincipal has shown that she genuinely cares about the students and wants them to grow. She has lots of energy and has a true vision for the school. The school has really excelled since transitioning to the new building and a revamped staff.
Posted by a community member on 2/7/2020I love Moore and all the staff and teachers (Shatoya Mouzon). I love the environment and the library. And advanced technology like Chromebooks and SMART boards. Wonderful building, very secure as well.
Posted by a student on 8/6/2019This school is truly amazing! As a student at Moore I think the staff is very kind and the teachers and students too! They have a lot of activities and advanced technology. There is not enough words to describe how amazing Moore is
Posted by a community member on 3/8/2015I really hate that my son has to go to Moore this year. Moore was so much different & the staff was so much nicer when I was there. Keri which is now their "secretary" (nothing more) has a horrible attitude. I hate having to deal with her when I do have to go out to my son school. If I'm not in a bad mood she automatically puts me in one. I'll move to another state just to keep my son from having to go to this school next year and me having to see or deal with Keri.
Posted by a parent on 12/16/2014The school continues to improve. New principal with a lot of vision and energy. Some excellent teachers. There are opportunities to participate in acccelerated programs in the district - REACH. New school building on the immediate horizon (being built now). Highly recommended.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our 11th year. 4K - 9th. We absolutely love TKA. Great curriculum and teachers that really care about the students and parents for that matter. Great atmosphere and you feel like a part of a huge family who only want the best for your child.Parent Review2mo ago - St. Anthony Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school. The principal really changed the school around. St. Anthony's is perfect for your child, there are so many opportunities at the school including, band, chorus, plays, and sports. The nice thing abt the sports is that, (since it is a small school) you can try out for whatever you would like, and see what you enjoy! St. Anthonys is also AMAZING academically, giving the students not too much or too less homework, but also making sure the homework is related to what they are learning about. The students at St. Anthony are extremely kind and sweet and non-judgemental. Would definetly recommend St Anthonys to your child!!Student Review1y ago - Maranatha Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended this school's preschool 4K program. The childcare/daycare side is run by the childcare director and the K5-K12 of course by the principal. My son's teacher barely communicated his progress outside of the unsatisfactory marks she sent him home with and with very little feedback given. These teachers aren't required to be certified. It was only 4k so I didn't make a huge deal about it. Ultimately, we were kicked out of the 4k program on 5/17/23, TWO days before the last day bc I called his teacher out on not providing my son with the same supplies the other students received. My concern was basically dismissed by the teacher and the director was upset I told the teacher she was wrong and was an example of things to look out for in the future. *I.e. a teacher feeling comfortable with leaving certain students out.* This then led to me being told "you obviously were not happy with your kid being here so you can just go get his stuff." All in front of my 5 year old. There were only 2 days left. It was petty, unfair and hurtful to my child. They used my child to hurt me and it worked. I as a parent never felt welcome at this school but my son liked and it's not about me. I kept quiet and paid his tuition. AS SOON AS I challenged them on something they exercised their power to kick out us out. Makes me feel like they wanted to do it all along. A huge disappointment and such a poor example of a "Christian" school. We basically had to beg for our son to rightfully be able to attend his last day and be able to say bye to his friends. The principal from K5-K12 seemed more reasonable and did apologize for how things transpired. The childcare director, not so much. Don't send your child here.Parent Review9mo ago
