Read what parents are saying about St. Joseph Catholic SchoolAs a middle school teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School, I am blessed to be able to educate children in a faith-filled environment. We pray before every class and all the teachers integrate the Catholic Faith into every lesson. The values of faith and knowledge are seen in the actions of all the children; all of the children are respectful and helpful to the teachers and other children. The middle school children are shining examples to the younger children and the younger children are always respectful and joyful! As a teacher, I am privileged to know my middle school students, but I also know the younger children. I know almost all of the students by name. St. Joseph is academically excellent; the curriculum goes beyond the state standards. St. Joseph is a blessed place where challenging academics and a strong faith-filled environment are seen everyday.
Posted by a teacher on 2/12/2016Great school, great teachers, and great curriculum. After coming from a public school. We were a little behind. Luckily, the teachers worked with our kids to get them caught up.And they are thriving now.

Posted by a parent on 9/17/2012The teachers at St. Joseph Catholic School are exceptional. One of my child's teachers went above and beyond to help him. We were blessed to have someone so loving and dedicated to her job. The class sizes are smaller compared to other schools, which is just what my child needed. It is truly a wonderful school with loving,dedicated teachers and strong academics.

They are not forthcoming about the help that is available and seem to mostly ignore the bullying that takes place. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average-Church based school-Non-certified teachers (mom's from the church) and only one per subject. If you don't get their style of teaching, you've wasted your time. There is no additional help provided. My child comes home crying often due to being humiliated in class by a teacher. The "Headmaster" is spineless and takes no action to address.-Good sports opportunities-Bullying comes from the parents, not the children/students. The amount of judging and gossiping is immeasurable, especially from the parents that are associated with the church.-Homework is piled on purposefully to give the impression it's an academically challenging school. However, given the quality of teachers, its merely a smokescreen.-Constantly haggling about giving more money- We attend only because this is the least of the 2 evils between here and Public school and the kids have friends there. As a parent, it's hard finding someone to trust fully with your children. I am fully trusting in this staff with both of my boys! They have went here for school and now in the summer for daycare.
