Read what parents are saying about Harry Kizirian Elementary SchoolThis school year for my son hasn't been the greatest, to start with his teacher was mostly absent and he was already getting tired of having substituted or ending with another class in a different grade, sometimes with first graters. now his teacher is not coming back there is a substitute teacher that we hope she can stay until the end of the school year.

Posted by a community member on 12/3/2015secretary staff or office staff were very unpleasant and unprofessional..... was not impressed at all. Should really hire secretaries who actually love their job and aren't rude or unprofessional when dealing with a parent who's concerned about an issue. The secretaries lied staright to my face when asked when if principal was in after no response to a very important incident with my child. Instead she lied as the principal was seen walking right out of her office. As I asked why she lied she continued to laugh in my face as I sat angrily waiting for assistance my sister in law showed me how to report a review here while we sat and watched both secretaries laugh in our faces with my child standing there.

Posted by a community member on 8/2/2013I don't know where to begin. I am so disappointed with the treatment towards the parents by this school. The Office Staff members are so unprofessional. Horrible is more likely to discribe them. The notices are ALWAYS late! I have never seen a more disorganized and disfunctinal school facility like this, from day 1 it's been a circus. I will allow my son to finish this school year there because of his teacher who is the exception to all of this caoz! She is absolutely an angel and has done an excellent job with my son. She is the reason why i have chosen to have my son stay and finish the school year because she is an incredible teacher. But overall I can't believe that these neglected matters not to mention others has not been reported and being a parent of a second grader and also a elementary school teacher it scares me that this has fallen through the cracks. If my son is not beside his teacher (which i'm sure there are moments that he is not) I fear for my sons safety physically and emotionally. If they can get away with treating adults the way they do i can only imagine the treatment towards the students. I'm so upset! Disgusted is more to discribe the way I feel. Grade F

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis marks the second year my son has been enrolled at this school, and we've witnessed significant shifts in personnel, from the principal to several teachers previously criticized in unfavorable reviews. The incoming principal is driven by a genuine desire for improvement and is confronting the tough decisions inherent to the role. A newly established parent council is actively contributing to much-needed reforms within the school. I'm optimistic about the direction in which the school is moving under this new leadership. As my son approaches his transition to middle school next year, I'm encouraged by the positive developments at this institution. Despite its smaller size, the school proactively supports its students before academic challenges become unmanageable, showing a real commitment to their overall well-being.Parent Review1mo ago - St. Ann School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is simply excellent. I strongly recommend it as the faculty are dedicated, the overall environment is very positive, and the community is strong. My child has made many friends and really enjoys St. Pius V. The school hosts a strong array of activities and really tries hard to get parents involved. Its a diverse environment too. Tuition is affordable. I can't say enough good things about the academic support. The most recent 8th grade class sent students to many competitive high schools (Classical, LaSalle, etc.) Oh, there are volunteers from Providence College at the school too. There is a high degree of energy at this school... its a good spot for your child.Parent Review4y ago - Holy Ghost School
