Johnston Senior High School

Excellent. Many Johnston high school students follow In their family’s footsteps and go into business ownership. College ratings do not take this into consideration.

This school is biased among their students, they pick favorites and treat them with special interest. The administrators are normally supposed to improve the school in every way possible from learning from past classes, but they do not do anything at all, also they mentioned that they improved their security at the school except most of the students during last period will walk out and they do not care at all. Secondly school lunches are a bit pricey for the serving amount they give to high school students. Next off the majority of the teachers don't know the materials they teach. Finally the yearbook is supposedly hold memories of the seniors who are leaving the school yet the majority of the pictures contain the same people throughout the whole yearbook.

I was a student at Johnston High School and had nothing but horrible experiences while I attended. A very small percentage of the teachers actually care about teaching. The schools administration is a joke as well. I was on an IEP and they did literally everything they could to stop me from being successful there. It was a constant battle to get the little I had. I even filed multiple formal complaints with Department of Ed., all which the school was found to be out of compliance. Even after that they still wouldn't help to the point where I was so far behind and couldn't keep fighting with them that I decided to drop out of school and get my G.E.D teachers are rude and disrespectful and so was the administration. There was a terrible lack of communication and even had teachers threatening vice principals. School is more like a prison with little authority. Not to mention it is rundown and grotesque inside. I wouldn't recommend this school to anybody. Classes are below average and are a joke. Send your child anywhere but here if you want them to be successful and have a decent high school experience.
