Read what parents are saying about Gladstone Street SchoolGreat school with great teachers. Super grateful to have such amazing teachers especially during Covid years. Teachers here treat their students as their own, they go above and beyond to meet their needs.
Posted by a parent on 12/9/2022My 6 years old went to this school on 2012 thankfully one year. We live our worst nightmare when one day I was called to pick up my son who was at the nurse office. At arrival the main door was again wide open and my son was lost in the school. The nurse said he was with teacher and the teacher said he was with the nurse. He was found with his pants down walking at the hallway. Even though I report the incident to the School Superintendent and I was promised she would sort out what happened she never called me back or received me at her office which I visited frequently. My mistake was not calling the police. This school gave me and my son the worst experience in life. I'm sure they still remember me.

Posted by a parent on 10/27/2014I went to school at Gladstone Street School from 1959-1964. It was an excellent school then, but so was the US educational system. ALL of my teachers were excellent. They made sure that you learned the material. Their only purpose was to provide the students with a solid education. They cared about each child. Progress reports were sent out if the child was not performing up to his/her capabilities. It saddens me to see that it has gone down hill, academically and teacher caring. My fifth grade teacher saw me one day at the school after I had graduated high school and remembered who I was. If that is not caring and taking a special interest in the students, then I do not know what is.
Posted by a community member on 4/26/2014When I was there between 1969 to 1972,we had a vice principle yelling on a public address system at lunch for us never to talk. The wall was all we learned and we frequently were not allowed to eat our full lunches.bad place then.I truly hope it has changed.it was dreadfull.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Stadium! I can't say enough about its staff being so kind, passionate and motivated. The Cranston Public School Department must believe in their extreme talents too, faith far beyond their other schools' staff because of how they send behavioral students and "overspill" from other neighborhoods to Stadium and not to Woodridge for example. Rating is 66% impoverished!!! That's a crazy to me and Stadium is seemingly getting taken advantage of. How about taking this info and redistricting a bit ??!! The city has become center heavy and the furthest from the center are being allowed to set their tones of exclusivity. Whatever! Our school reflects our friendly neighborhood, no one is better than another, vibe. This is rare. I've compared notes with friends from the other side, school families such as those living in Alpine Estates and attending Orchard Farms. Stadium kids are being pushed way harder and content, especially in math and ELA, seems more complex. They are working hard and it is reflected in the state testing scores. If you want your children to be worldly, friendly, motivated and kind send them to Stadium. I chose this neighborhood and I'm still glad I did.Parent Review5y ago - Charles N.
