Cochran Elementary is a great school. We recently moved away from Williamsport and are going to miss all of the teachers and staff so much! Both of our daughters needed help with speech and reading and received the best support I've ever seen. I can only pray that our new school is half as good as C
Posted by a parent on 6/13/2011I am a grandmother whose grandchild's final grade was rated "below basic" in the 1st quarter. My grandchild is very smart and comprehends very well. I don't think her teacher would've asked her to tutor a classmate if she wasn't academically capable. The parents of the child was appauld and offended

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is ran by a bunch of unaccredited “teachers”. Basically a bunch of homeschool moms (if that) making bank. If your child get hurts there is NO LICENSED NURSE on staff.. The first grade teacher is the wife of the principal and wont take proper action over bullying! This is the short list of problems at this school. The only positive is the kindergarten teacher because she takes her time to invest in actually helping your child.
