Read what parents are saying about Nativity of Our Lord SchoolThis school has an outstanding academic environment. What is most important to me is the care they exhibit for my children. It is truly a family. Nativity did a great job during the pandemic providing a learning environment through virtual teaching.
Posted by a parent on 7/6/2020Terrible. They have no clue how to handle bullying. The principal was "bullied herself" so you think they would have no tolerance. They are afraid to lose students so they don't address it. Instead, you lose the kid that is not creating the problem. Also, the main priest there is terrible. He is very controlling, not approachable and comes across arrogant. Everything has to be done his way and he is ruining it for the families. People will not go to church there if he keeps up his ways. He won't allow his own students to use the gym on weekends with supervision. It's not his gym and he was not there to fundraise or build it. Get off your high horse you are a priest for the people. Bring back FR. Cintino. Less problems when he was around.
Posted by a parent on 5/15/2019Without any prompting at all, my six-year-old called this school her "second house" and "second family"...spur-of-the-moment comments like this tell me my kids are truly happy. Thanks for a safe, happy environment!
Posted by a parent on 10/24/2017We have 2 boys attending Nativity of our Lord. They transferred from a local public school in 4th and 6th grade. The transition was smooth and they never looked back or had second thoughts. They (and we) are happy at Nativity. They are challenged by the curriculum and the teachers are attentive to their progress. We have also found the focus on grammar and effective writing to be greater than their previous school.
Posted by a parent on 10/17/2017I currently have 2 children at Nativity of Our Lord, we love the experience we have had over the last 6 years. The Teachers are very attentive and the leadership of the school has been exemplary. If you are trying decide between Nativity and another school , please come for a tour. You will see the difference the moment you walk in ! We love it.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI started to attend this school in 2011, and I loved it. All the staff were amazing people and always accommodated others and went out of their way to help students understand the content they were teaching, but everything changed once the principal was replaced. Since none of the teachers liked the new principal, around 80% of them left the next year. The new principal is a nice person, but is kind of unjustly strict, leaving the students with no chance to explain themselves and making them feel like what they say doesn't matter. Although I understand how hard a job as a principal is, I don't think that falsely accusing students of punishable offenses is a way to deal with your problems. Most of the new teachers that have been hired recently are irresponsible and rude, leaving kids to act up in their classes. I could go through thousands of things wrong with the teachers, but I won't go on a rant. Not all is bad, though, since there are some really good teachers. There are about 3 teachers that teach middle school level that are responsible and intelligent. The rest are young, very irresponsible and irritable. There is one teacher that I especially dislike, but I won't list names for the sake of my own safety. Even without the issue of teachers, the school (mostly the boys bathrooms) is never clean, due to the annoying students ruining it out of spite of the school, which ruins the experience for everyone else. The only thing they do to fix this is completely banning the use of bathrooms instead of finding out who did the crime. This I don't understand, since they literally have cameras everywhere, and they could easily find the culprits, but I personally think that they're too lazy to do anything about it. Talking about laziness, there used to be a plethora of school events and fundraisers that I could think of off the top of my head, but they've all been either degraded into nothing or been erased from the year completely. Everything feels like they put barely any effort into it, and it really sucks, since they had some really amazing and engaging events in the past. Anyway, I feel as if they've gotten lazier and lazier as the years go on. They've promise us new equipment and re-vamps all the time, but nothing ever happens. We are told that we raise thousands of dollars through fundraisers, and it will be used to upgrade or install things, but again, it never happens. These are only a few problems I have, but I also don't think you shouldn't go here.Other Review11mo ago - Comprehensive Learning Center
