Read what parents are saying about Steelton-Highspire El SchoolThe whole administrative Staff from the School District to the Asst. Principals are all one big "high school click". They do nothing about the severe bullying that occurs here. They are quick to attack parents and when a parent reacts to their poor behavior or even inquires about situations/policies they are hit with an Order to Stay off all school property including away games. They also treat you like a criminal by supporting said documents to the local police stations. They will listen to gossip and rumors and refuse to help students due to this petty nonsense.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately this is one of the worse school! Not even 3 days after my daughter stated coming to this school she got beaten . One of the 5 girls planned it all out. She grabbed my daughter through her hair from the back and put her on the floor and kicked her . After this incident happened she was taken to the nurse but guess what no one called us. Not the principal Mrs. Loy , the nurse or the teacher. They are very unresponsible .very pathetic of them not to call me or dad to tell us what happened. I do not recommended this school for a child . They need better management. The teachers are very professional, willing to listen to any concerns you may have, and provide a rigorous curriculum to prepare the children for high school and beyond. They provide a faith based education that develops the students spiritually, intellectually, and academically. The principal is hard-working and puts in many hours.
