They try to compensate with extra classes in 7th grade, with leads to a 45 minute study hall every other day, so not enough time to complete a fraction of the homework assignments. Schools focus is heavily on sports,

Involved parents and committed students do well and the school advertises them as though it was due to their hard work. Communication with parents is very very poor or should I say Nil.
