Spring-Ford Intrmd School 5th/6th

Our daughter transferred here post-Covid in 4th grade and stayed through 8th. Overall, we appreciated the environment and the sense of community—it was a good fit for our family, and we’re glad she had the opportunity to experience a Catholic school education.Academically, the school is sufficient for most students, though families with children who have special needs may find resources limited. That said, the addition of counselor support several days a week is a positive step forward.The principal is truly outstanding—kind, supportive of her staff, and a wonderful role model for the students. She sets the tone for a caring and respectful environment. On the other hand, there are a few teachers who are not as strong, and unfortunately, due to the diocese’s lower pay scale, the school is limited in its ability to replace them.One of the best parts of our experience was the community of like-minded families who supported one another. For us, that sense of belonging was invaluable.
