High School of Engineering & Science

I thought I put my child in a good caring school,but today really made me think of taking her out before most of the staffs and principal there are fake and phony,so today was academic night my daughter got an award for honor roll it started off good but soon as it was time to eat they were acting funny with food and it was a raffle going on they were being sneaky by going into a class room to do the raffle draw instead of doing it in the auditorium were me my children and 2 other families were at just waiting around for them to come in to do the raffle the principal to me it was going to be in the auditorium they really wasted my time and made me and my daughter feel some type of way the staffs are nasty they don’t know how to talk to people in a nice manner,I’m getting my daughter out of there.she deserves better.

Gesu was once known for its positive environment and strong sense of community, but recent leadership decisions have negatively impacted the school experience for many families. My experience with Principal Alana Lee’s leadership has been disappointing. There seems to be favoritism toward certain families and inconsistent handling of rules and discipline. Serious behavior issues are often left to other staff members to manage, and communication with parents can feel dismissive or unclear. Overall, stronger leadership, fairness, and accountability are needed. I would not recommend this school unless Alana is put out!!
