It’s ok not the best lot of racists things go on here.

I struggled terribly with my kids in a neighboring district, I transferred them to Barrett and they have mad a astronomical change in both behavior and learning. The previous school was behind all across the board and lacked assistance for special education.

When my husband and I started looking at schools to send our children to, we were essentially choosing who we would be partnering with in raising our children. We chose Walnut Grove Christian School and we are so happy we did! The staff and teachers offer the essential level of nurturing, educational stimulation, and spiritual growth that will help our children to be successful in the future.

As a former student at this school, I often felt that the curriculum was lacking in many subjects. The school was very accommodating to those in the lower-level language arts and math classes. Personally, as a higher-level student, I did not feel challenged in any way, nor did I feel prepared entering high school. The social environment of this school was extremely toxic. Drama between classmates was expected and typical due to small classes, but teachers involving themselves was unprofessional and unexpected. The teachers would often push themselves into the personal lives of students and even gossip about other students behind their backs. The special education program consisted of aids who harshly and publicly reprimanded their students for minor mistakes. Along with this, there was little emotional support for special education students who were being openly bullied by other classmates. The school also did not reprimand students who made racist and belittling comments to minority students. The diversity in this school was lacking and the effects of this were apparent. Overall, this school did not feel like a safe and welcoming environment. In the future, I would never recommend this school to anyone.

The teachers are fantastic and the students are well behaved.
