I have twins that attend Schick , with one of my children on the spectrum, and am so impressed with the compassion and understanding he is given. the teachers,counselors and principals are superb! Excellent school!!
Posted by a parent on 8/28/2013The Donald E Schick Elementary School has the most caring and friendly Staff in all the schools I have dealt with in the past few years as my children have grown,They really make you feel safe to put your children's needs in their hands.
Posted by a parent on 8/27/2013My children attended this school for 2 years, and then thankfully we relocated. The administration cares about 2 things: their own careers and test scores. The school lacks empathy, nuturing, discipline, and it is way too large (over 600 students) for an elementary school. I hate to be so negative,

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is ran by a bunch of unaccredited “teachers”. Basically a bunch of homeschool moms (if that) making bank. If your child get hurts there is NO LICENSED NURSE on staff.. The first grade teacher is the wife of the principal and wont take proper action over bullying! This is the short list of problems at this school. The only positive is the kindergarten teacher because she takes her time to invest in actually helping your child.
