Amazing elementary school ran by the best!

Did not have a great experience for my child. My child went from loving to learn to greatly disliking school.

I am deeply disappointed in this school and its leadership. The overall impression is that teachers and administration lack both urgency and genuine care when it comes to education quality, student behavior, and communication with families.The academic curriculum is not progressive, engaging, or exciting. Learning feels outdated and uninspired, with little effort to challenge or motivate students. A clear example of the school’s lack of resources is how far behind students are in learning basic computer programs and technology skills. In today’s tech-driven world, this is especially troubling and puts students at a disadvantage compared to peers at other schools.Basic resources are lacking overall, including adequate space and a proper playground, which significantly impacts students’ daily experience.The school relies heavily on volunteers to function, to the point where it feels exploitative rather than supportive. At the same time, the school prioritizes constant fundraising and outside charity efforts while failing to adequately invest in its own students, staff, and infrastructure.Classroom management and discipline are major concerns. The demerit system is either not used or not enforced, rules are lax, uniforms are inconsistently enforced, and teacher professionalism is questionable. Staff frequently dress sloppily, which sets a poor example and reflects the overall lack of standards.Bullying is an ongoing issue and is not handled effectively. Even more troubling is the culture among staff—there is open chatter about students, which is unprofessional and inappropriate. Many teachers enroll their own children for free, further straining already limited resources and classroom capacity.Communication from the school is consistently poor. Homework expectations are unclear or poorly communicated, events are often canceled or delayed at the last minute, and families are left scrambling for information. Church-related student Masses do not occur regularly despite being a core part of the school’s mission.Leadership is a significant problem. The principal oversees two schools and does not manage either well. The lack of presence, organization, and follow-through is evident across all areas of the school.Overall, this school feels disorganized, under-resourced, and indifferent to both students and families. I would not recommend it to parents seeking a structured, engaging, and professionally run educational environment.

Children receive outstanding support and academic instruction in the Southern Lehigh School District. The staff genuinely care about their students and consistently go the extra mile to ensure every child is treated with respect and compassion. This school district is the reason I moved to the area! May the school district receive outstanding amounts of support from Pennsylvania state for the phenomenal job they do with the state’s future generations!
