My son has autism and he is not being treated right assistant principal and principal are both very rude

Posted by a community member on 10/18/2025I can say there's issues with with upper management and the union because when you bring up anything thats wrong or needs to be fixed they'll try to constructive dismiss you and never speak up about complaints if you get them . Cleaning staff is miss treated and treated like maids .

I did not have an issue with any teachers but have seen some pick on certain children for no reason. The principal that is there now doesn't return phone calls. I did have issues over the years with bullying etc and

If he would misbehave in the morning she would dwell on him all day over what he had done regardless of how he was behaving at the time. When I asked to speak with the guidance counselor to set up a meeting with her

After several years here, we have had nothing but a positive experience. The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s academic and emotional growth. The Montessori approach has helped our kids become independent, confident, and truly excited about learning.The classrooms are calm and purposeful, and every child is known and valued. Communication with families is thoughtful and consistent. On the rare occasion we’ve brought something to their attention, it has always been acknowledged and worked through with care, which means so much as a parent.We’ve watched our children excel academically while also growing socially and emotionally in meaningful ways.
