Staff is caring. New school looks amazing. They have been through many principals but the teachers stay the same.

Ardmore Avenue has potential to be better. Now that Mr. Timothy McKay is the principal I think the school's culture has changed for the better. The teachers are good and they care about students who come to school to learn. Given the lousy school district we're in I think the teachers do a great job. Mrs Jones and Mrs Griffith are great and they interact with the parents to ensure that everyone has the same goal in mind. If these teachers were provided with the right resources such as up to date classroom technology and school funding to implement more programs, I believe Ardmore could be a great school. But we cant place the blame all on the schools and the teachers. As parents we are the first educators, so a child is only going to do as they were taught. So if every parent communicated effectively with their child's teacher and showed some type of involvement I believe Ardmore could be the shining star in the William Penn School District. 2012 school year
