After transferring from the Elanco School District due to a move, both the middle school and elementary school have fallen far below expectations. All students are recognized at the end of each year at an awards ceremony not only for academic achievement but also for character growth / development . Time is spent learning throughout the year without months of time set aside by teachers to "teach to the tests" that state-run public schools do in a frantic effort to raise test scores.
