I am a student from Central Dauphin East High, and just to be clear, the students here can take on the snobbish attitudes as the likes of Hershey (Public School). They are not taught respect as the booed the MARCHING BAND. When I visited their school for county orchestra a couple of their students, upon learning what school I was in made comments about every one who goes there living in subsidized housing. On that note though the curriculum might be great there, but discipline and the teaching of respect and passion needs serious help.

Lower Dauphin is rich. They still would rather spend their money on football gear than textbooks. I have been in the Lower dauphin district for almost 10 years and I have hated every minute.

This school offers a well balanced education. The teachers prepare the students for life outside of middle school/ high school. Your child can grow in any avenue they choose, advanced education, sports, music, drama, it's their choice. Great school district.

Great school! Superintendent is top notch. She cares about the school district with all her heart and soul. Principals & VPs are fully invested in the kids as well. Most teachers are great. A few of the older ones, like the HS home economics teacher, need to retire - cranky with no patience and seems sick of her job. The executives need to get rid of her..
