Hughesville Junior-Senior High School

Years ago I would have said great but now I would say that the teachers are only there to get a paycheck and don't really care about the kids.

I found a house and moved to this school district specifically because of the school's reputation, and after being here 3 years, I have to say I made a very good decision. I have 4 boys attending school here. The teachers care about the students, the facilites are great, and so are the sports programs. The curriculum allows the students a wide variety of choices, carreer paths and level of academic challenge.

I graduated from HHS and was one of the only students in college that had high school organic chemistry. The science program is really strong and truly prepared me for my career in the health sciences. I moved back to this area after several years away because I wanted my children to go to this school.
