Pittston Area Middle School

My experience is ok. We do get loaded with work for no reason. But the school does plan fun things.

This school is the worst school ever if your child needs any additional help, testing, outside resources, etc. They have unqualified people evaluating your child, and when you have a problem they won't give you any help. It's ridiculous how many parents sure this school district for lack of help etc. I cannot even rate this school anything is so horrible! They need to get with reality. My son had struggled his entire time within this school district since first grade. I have yet to get anything I need for him to progress. It's such a shame! If your child doesn't need anything the school will treat the well, if your child does need something they will IGNORE them.

I am currently a 8th grade student at the middle school and to be honest, it is a great school despite all the bad rumors. The teachers are the nicest and you learn very well. There are so many clubs and activities you can do if you don't play a sport. If you do play a sport (which I do) it's amazing. The programs are the best. You learn so much and have a lot of fun. Everyone gives you respect no matter what. It doesn't matter if your new, you make friends very quickly. I've seen it myself. We've had a lot of new students and they get find friends fast. And I mean very fast. Im writing this reveiw because I've seen the other bad comments and I'm not going to let someone trash my school like that. I go to an amazing school and you will not regret attending this school. I highly recommend it.
