Probably the staff at this school just hate parents. Parenting is hard, and people say talk to the school if you have concerns about your kids. They say it takes a village to raise a kid. But at this school parents are treated like annoying dumb nuisances when they have concerns about their own children. Probably the district needs to employ parents relations manager since the current staff are obviously unhappy to have discussions with parents. Especially when the kid has special needs, it is really tough for parents. Please don’t shame parents when they have concerns about their own kids. It took a doctor four months to give a diagnosis on special needs but at this school they have results after they did two observations . It is okay to have disagreements, but do not shame people who disagree with you. It is traumatic. As a psychologist you should know. For the district social worker, is there anything wrong with an apartment complex? Many people choose to live in a community because they don’t want to shovel the snow or cut the grass. Most apartments’ rent are more expensive than mortgages or even houses’ rent. But maintenance free living is appealing for many. Sorry.

Wonderful so far as my daughter is only in Kindergarten. She loves going to school each day and always has something great to tell me each day about the different teachers and activities.

The teachers, administrators and staff are excellent! Any questions or concerns are quickly addressed and answered. The office staff is amazing! The in-school activities make it feel like part of the community. There are ample opportunities for parents to come into the school and be a part of your child's day. The curriculum is tailored to each child; the reading program us top notch. My children love to read because of the techniques used at Concord. The administrators will address any social issues brought to their attention. There are plenty of evening activities to allow working parents the opportunity to be involved in activities. This school truly is interwoven into the community.
