Great school, awesome teachers and have many great memories at Grover over the last 10 years and counting. Teachers are very supportive, a lot of family engagement activities, and over the last few years have added more programs/clubs for the students which is great. They also offer extra help throughout the school day in very small groups for students who need just a little extra push.

Wouldn’t recommend this school as the teachers and principles do not care about safety !Mrs Farnham shouldn’t even be there they don’t care about bullying and the bus workers handle your kids rough I saw with my own eyes grabbing and pulling them

This is an amazing school for kids and amazing staff.

Starting at St. Jude school I was very cautious with my son and on high alert because he was he was treated very badly at his pervious school. But my sons St. Jude teacher (M-F) 4t class, was really amazing and cared for my son just like all the other students. I have nothing but positive things to say about all the staff that I've encountered here.

We have always sent our kids to private schools, living in the City of Erie (vs. a suburb). We initially chose other, cheaper private schools over Erie Day School just because of the price tag. We weren’t sure that the quality of education would be worth it. Now, with our kids having attended EDS for the past 4 years, we are kicking ourselves that we didn’t switch sooner.The academics are simply head and shoulders above the rest. This is a case of getting what you pay for; here, a top notch education that results in well-rounded success in later years. (Since then, I’ve noted that the cost of private schools in other cities make EDS look like a steal.)Our kids actually had to catch up, because the private school they’d been attending previously (we switched mid-year) was quite a bit behind EDS academically. The teachers devoted themselves to getting our kids up to speed, and now they’re all doing great! Our daughter just started high school after finishing at EDS, and is acing every class. The teachers are an exceptional group that provides the right combination of discipline and caring. I like that EDS goes above and beyond with special experiences; for one example, all 3rd and 4th graders attend Camp Fitch each year, where they learn archery, canoeing, rock climbing and horse care. Socially, the students consistently show kindness and respect toward one another, as well as toward teachers. I like that the classes are kept smallish, and that kids in different grades all know one another and are friends. It’s common, for example, for older kids to cheer for younger kids in sports, such as cross country and tennis.We couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose EDS for our kids’ educations!
