In 1979 Cameron County was a terrific school, now it is focused on what it has not what they teach or how they do it. Even now there are wonderful teachers but with retirement incentives and the administrations manipulations the good teachers are almost gone. Poor hiring policies and lack of teacher

I am a 1979 graduate of CCHS. For those posting negative reviews - hey, look in the mirror and see the problem! My education was excellent and many of my class members have achieved admirable success. No one is going to hand you anything in this life.
