The teachers are very attentive to student needs, they are encouraging, challenging and fair. They work very hard to ensure that all students are prepared for college or any other career they may choose. The students are welcoming and friendly. The campus is beautiful and very safe. It is a wonderful school.

Posted by a parent on 9/6/2021If your student is academically there then they will do ok at this school (even though there is a lack of AP classes). But if your child needs a little bit more extra help they have little to offer. I'd take your money elsewhere.
Posted by a parent on 8/9/2017We came to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart from out of town and were greeted in a warm welcoming atmosphere. We immediately felt like a part of the OLSH family.Academics are college prep and there is a good selection of courses, including honors courses. College credit is available for certain courses. The school balances new trends in education without abandoning tried and true educational practices. They teach students about the Catholic faith and encourage them to live it and develop on a personal level, as well as through service to others.There are a wide range of extracurricular activities. This size of school allows more opportunity for students to become involved than would be possible at a larger school. Participation creates poised confident individuals. OLSH makes it easy to receive information and to communicate through creative means including; weekly newsletters, the OLSH Mobile App, emergency alerts, a quarterly Principal’s Forum, Meet the Teachers Night, and parent socials, to name a few.We highly recommend Our Lady of the Sacred Heart!-Michael and Rufie Harr
Posted by a parent on 2/1/2016OLSH is the best school ever. Please do not read the reviews that say it is not. We have just put in a new OWL (OLSH writing and Learning center) and it is one of three in Pennsylvania in the high school level, as well as being the only one in a catholic school. The students also get to interact with the sisters, and each class has mass with them once a month. We also have all school masses on important feast days and holy days of obligation as well as once a month. The teachers are stellar. They care about their students. Students are also paired with a teacher as their advisor at the beginning of freshman year. This teacher will advise their group of students until the end of Junior year. OLSH is a family, we all care about each other. I ask you to consider OLSH as your high school!

All the staff are friendly and helpful. One day I came in to pick up my girl, I even saw Chad was helping carrying the kids around. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Rhema for 4 years and really can't say enough great things about it. They don't just call themselves a christian school because they teach bible but they really do incorporate Christ and building a relationship with Him in so many aspects of the day. My daughter is more advanced than her friends in the same grade that attend public school or even some other christian schools in the area. Their tuition is very fair. Parents can observe in the classroom, visit and have lunch with your kiddo and be so incredibly involved in so many aspects of the school! The school body - both staff and students are like a family and have really grown tremendously now that COVID restrictions have decreased. They have an amazing, talented and highly qualified principal and amazing board that is leading the school and the presence of God can be felt the moment you walk in the door. We have weathered COVID at this school (and the experience was far and above many other experiences of friends and family at other schools) as well as a lot of changes within the staff and leadership of the school but we have never felt the quality of education has lacked. Now that the leadership is so high above the bar of expectation and staff is in unity, the years ahead are going to be even more amazing!Parent Review1y ago
