The teachers and administrators here really seem to care. The school has smaller class sizes, so the kids get more attention than in a larger school.

Small school where everyone knows everyone's name. The School Board is willing to listen to the community's suggestion and the teachers and administrators are very friendly.

I had 3 kids who went to this school. It's a small school with the benefits and weaknesses that come along with that. The teachers care. The kids know each other. The administrators are amazing. They became a charter school a few years ago too give them more flexibility and resources. They also have a scholarship available for students to attend Oregon State Forestry program for those interested - its generally not competitive for this who can get accepted to OS - this is an amazing benefit to our students! One of the greatest things about this school is that it is a decent school that exists here in the beautiful McKenzie River area our kids doin't have to bus for hours. Our area has a huge amount of outdoor activities in a National Park quality area.
