I attended the middle school from 2018-2021 and I thought it was good for what it was. Most teachers were solid and the homework load was enough to help us learn but not overwhelming. Most kids are pretty good at this school. There are some bad apples and some people get bullied but its much less than a traditional neighborhood middle school. My one big problem with the school was the principal and the school administrators. I feel like they were very harsh and the principal always just made terrible efforts trying to connect to students. Overall though its a pretty good school and is likely much better than any neighborhood middle school so I would recommend this school. One more thing I don't like about the middle school portion of the school is that it was always neglected in favor of the K-5 grades. Plus when I went to the school the only options for electives were choir and band. You just got to choose between those two and that is it. So in that regard it sorta just felt like a glorified elementary school.

Not at as expected or as it used to be earlier.Teachers are hardly teaching and do not want to even help the parents who want to teach at home. We have to find online homework help or resort to google.

New principal is horrible, she looks down on parents, is disrespectful and seems like she is on a power trip. Some teachers outright bully students they don’t like, and lack communication skills with parents. Classroom sizes are huge and not much learning can take place when teachers have 28 students.

We've had a great experience at this school. The new principal is very responsive and cares deeply for the school and community. She's instituted changes that has made the school safer and more organized. The teachers are very dedicated and the philosophy is implemented throughout. Academics is project-based, making it meaningful for students. If you're looking for rote-learning, worksheets, and "teaching to the tests", this is not the school for you!
