Prescott Elementary School

My daughter has been attending for 5 years we love this school and the teachers! Staff is very helpful and caring.

Terrible experience. After my father passing away, I informed them my son wouldn't be there for a few days. They called and acted like I did not inform them. When I repeated that my dad had died and my son wouldn't be there, the response I got was "ok , so he'll be out all week?" The lack of compassion is disgusting. If children are late on popcorn days (children who can't drive and have no control over when they arrive at school) they are punished and refused popcorn.

PCS is very inviting and our family has had the best experience transferring from a public school this year. My child enjoys all the teachers and is able to openly communicate with them and feels comfortable doing so. For the past 2 years my child was working remotely from home and so being back in school full-time with someone present and available to focus on him and his specific academic needs has been absolutely amazing. Classroom sizes are smaller so teachers are able to get to know the students and have a chance to help them if they are behind or just need extra help for any reason. There is free tutoring everyday and teachers are available before and after school. There is a direct line of communication between parent, student and staff. There's a huge sense of relief knowing our child is safe going to school while getting a higher level of education. I highly recommend PCS!

We LOVE being a part of the Columbia Family. Even though we are relatively new, I know the relationships our 3 kids and ourselves are making are the kind that last a lifetime. My kids are growing in all areas; spiritually, academically, physically, socially and their focus on building good character is outstanding! They now have the healthy challenge and accountability academically that they were missing and in that, they have found joy and personal drive because they have been able to see just what they are capable of doing. So thankful for this place and the genuine care they have for my children's todays and their tomorrows and....that extends to our entire family. It is an absolute BLESSING! One of my favorite things, is that my children's names are known, they are truly known and seen enough to recognize when they are having a hard day and for me, that is incredibly important. So grateful!
