4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've have nothing but good experiences with the administration, the teachers, the curriculum and seeing the parent student involvement. They offer resources for parents if you need help with food security or preventative health care services for students. The children seem consistently happy both while in class and when doing non learning activities such as lunch and recess. They offer community fairs and dinner nights for the students and their families. Its a shame that others aren't able to see the benefits from the school that I have witnessed firsthand.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Menlo Park Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children go to this school, it's a horrible school! The worst I have ever seen! Staff do not care about your children or their safety! Children with special needs will only be victimized and traumatized here! Playground is unsafe with very dangerous metal rebar sticking out of the ground! School smell's horrible and the bathroom's are disgusting and unsanitary! Meal's are horrible and always served cold, children will starve here! Principal Sarah Phillips is hardly ever seen, teacher's are only worried about pay, not your student or learning needs! School nurse is even worse! Let alone the behavioral specialist that will traumatized your child and treat them like a criminal! Menlo Park requires a change and should be monitored and assessed!Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Franciscan Montessori Earth School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have now been at this school for three years and we could not be happier. We left our neighborhood school mid-year because our son was being bullied and despite numerous conversations with his teacher, the counselor, and the principal little to nothing was done. When I picked our son up from his shadow day at FMES, he said it was the best day of his life. Within a week he was more joyful than he'd ever been at our neighborhood school. Three years later, he has some of the sweetest friends and is the happiest I've ever seen him. This past weekend (end of spring break) he said he was missing school because he is really enjoying math. Our younger son has ADHD and is also thriving. The options and flexibility really work well for him. FMES feels different from the moment you walk through the door. It's a very warm and welcoming community. Having taught special education in public schools for twelves years it was tough for us to make the decision to switch but we could not be happier. The love and care our children receive at FMES protects their innocence and joy, giving them a wonderful childhood.Parent Review7mo ago14 Reviews - St Therese School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were a PCS family for two years. I was in a hit-and-run accident on Halloween and asked for some patience with an $800 balance, after already paying tens of thousands to the school over our time there. We ended up withdrawing our daughter after several situations where we felt Christian values were not shown in how things were handled. When we brought concerns to administration, there was very little resolution, despite the emphasis on “collaboration.”Our daughter had surgery during the same month the remaining balance was due. I tried to go in once to pay, but it was during a fire drill and I was told I’d need to come back. We were also contacted repeatedly while working, which was stressful. Then the balance was sent to collections by January. We truly do pray for the school and the families who are there… but this experience was extremely disappointing.Parent Review10mo ago24 Reviews
